While fishing from a small boat with a companion, the witness heard a large heavy animal running through shallow water near shore, after which birds fled, the area went silent, and a bad smell was noticed. Looking back into an inlet, the witness saw a very large two-legged figure standing in tree shadows and swaying side to side before leaving.

The witness and a companion were at a swimming spot below a cabin getting ready to hike back uphill when they heard heavy bipedal footsteps approaching through dense brush. A large, muscular, dark-haired figure parted the vegetation about 40 yards away and looked at them, and they fled uphill while hearing sounds of pursuit for a short distance.

The witness was sleeping alone in the family home when they awoke suddenly in the early morning and saw a dark head-shaped outline at the bedroom window, apparently peering inside. The figure immediately fled off the deck and ran around the house into the woods behind, moving very fast and making loud crashing noises. The witness was frightened and spent subsequent nights at a relative's house nearby.
