They remained on site afterward playing music and talking.

The witness sat in a parked car using a predator call to attract coyotes. Looking in the rearview mirror, they saw a hairy figure peeking from behind a tree about 60 feet away, watching the car, then moving to a second tree before disappearing from view. Companions farther away heard the whistles, thuds and thrashing but did not see the figure.

He described jet-black wet hair hanging over its face, a chimp-like nose and mouth, and large limbs, estimating it was the size of a large man.

A large black figure stood up about 15 feet away on a steep downhill slope, showed agitated movements and cheek puffing, muttered and then screamed before leaving over a stump downhill. About an hour later the witness returned with two companions and all three heard pounding on trees and mumbled vocalizations before leaving.
