The witness and a friend spent hours in deep woods, sensing a presence, hearing movement and smelling rotting flesh and wet dog. While leaving near twilight, the witness noticed a large moss-colored figure hunched motionless in palmettos staring at them. Both stared at it for about two minutes before walking away normally and then running near the exit.
