Five or Six foot tall ape looking creature observed picking up road kill.

The witness was driving north on Highway 349 around 5 a.m. on Feb. 9, 1998. In the middle of the road the witness saw a small reddish long-haired ape-like creature about 5-foot-5 to 6 feet tall picking up roadkill. The creature then ran off into the woods.
