Husband and wife have a possible encounter in a KOA campground north of Crescent City
A couple camping on an isolated site finished dinner and sat by a campfire when the wife felt watched and fearful. The husband searched with lights and briefly saw movement in the trees about 30 feet away, including what looked like a large dark lower leg. While inside the trailer the wife heard two to three whooping sounds from that wooded area.
1AM sighting of a Bigfoot on Hwy 199 near Patrick Creek
The witness was driving slowly through S-turns on Highway 199 late at night with high beams on. The headlights illuminated a very large hairy biped walking on the opposite side of the road facing away. The witness watched it for a few seconds while passing close by but did not turn around for a frontal view because of the narrow canyon road and fear. The witness continued driving and later documented the sighting.

The witness was driving north on Highway 101 between Orick and Klamath at night and saw what looked like a bear squatting by the road. As the witness approached, the figure stood up as a tall, hairy human-like silhouette that appeared much taller than the Jeep roof and seemed to hold its hands over its face against the lights. Within about 20 yards it took one leap off the road into the darkness toward the valley, in an encounter estimated at about ten seconds total.

The witness was driving north on Hwy. 101 to visit a friend and pulled onto a wide spot to let faster cars pass. While stopped with the passenger window open, the witness heard an extremely loud scream and then saw a tall, dark-haired, muscular creature a few feet from the car. The creature took a couple of large steps toward the redwoods, went around a tree, and disappeared into dense brush. The encounter lasted only a few seconds and left the witness badly shaken.

The son, riding as a passenger in a vehicle traveling alongside a river, reported seeing a large hairy animal squatting on a rock in the water appearing to drink with its hand. The father, who was driving, did not see the animal. The sighting was very brief, lasting only seconds, and was said to have occurred in the early afternoon.

A television crew driving a large RV on a narrow forest road at dusk in rain spotted a figure ahead and filmed it as it walked bipedally across the road in front of them, illuminated by headlights, before disappearing behind a tree. The investigator later described the videotaped subject as a large, shaggy male figure and reported enhancements showed no sign of costume or effects.

In the morning he found large foot-shaped flattened grass impressions leading to and from the spot behind the bush.

After a few seconds of staring, the entity turned and disappeared behind the tree. The witness then found several prints in the forest debris and followed them uphill briefly before losing them.

The witness was looking out the living-room window toward the woods from home when a large hairy bipedal figure appeared about 25 feet away. The figure stepped between two trees, stood staring at the witness for several minutes, then turned and walked back into the woods. The witness later told a parent, who suggested a bear, but the witness maintains the figure moved entirely on two feet.

The witness and four companions were sitting and talking around a campfire at night when they heard loud crashing and rustling about 50 feet away in the woods. They reported seeing a pair of red glowing eyes about eight feet high that watched them for about a minute, though no body outline was visible in the dark. The source of the eyes then turned and moved away through the woods making crashing sounds.

The witness was riding as a passenger on a road toward town in the late morning when the driver pointed to the side. The witness then watched a very large, muscular, long-haired creature walk across an open dried creekbed, apparently unaware of the car. The side view was unobstructed but the face was not seen.

The witness was traveling with family members when their vehicle pulled over and everyone got out. The group noticed many large footprints in sand along a small river leading uphill toward the forest. They then heard a noise from the ridge across the river and briefly saw a large creature moving bipedally over the ridge out of sight, after which they got back in the vehicle and left.
