Night time sighting by motorist near Hartsville

The witness was driving home from work in the early morning when a large upright shape appeared in the opposite lane. Slowing for what was thought to be a deer, the witness realized at close range it was very tall, man-like with arms, and covered in light-colored hair. As the van passed, the creature appeared to lunge toward the vehicle with its shoulders above the van roof, and the witness sped away frightened.
