[name withheld] witness and a companion were driving slowly toward a river fishing area in [name withheld] early afternoon when a dark, bulky, very hairy animal appeared in front of them. It first moved fast on all fours toward [name withheld] treeline, then turned, stood and walked briefly on two legs showing white and brown coloration, and disappeared into brush after looking back.

The witness was swimming and having lunch with a companion, a child, and a dog at a secluded river sandbar on a hot summer day. When the dog became agitated, she went to check near the parked truck and saw a tall thin dark figure moving through brush about 20 yards away. She was startled, told her companion it was a Sasquatch, and they left.
