Men see creature on mountainside and collect stool samples

The witness and a companion stopped near a gorge opening to mount a trail camera after hearing branches breaking on a nearby ridge. The companion viewed a reddish, lean creature with broad shoulders and a cone-shaped head partially obscured behind a pine tree through binoculars. After the companion looked away for about five seconds, the creature was gone.

Eyewitness described ongoing encounters in 1980's

As a child helping with leaf raking at relatives' old homeplace, the witness was alone in the front yard when a strange sound was heard. Looking around, the witness saw a large tree-sized entity with piercing red eyes watching. The witness went to get a relative, but the entity was gone on return.

The Database of Unexplained Encounters. Claims are recorded as claims: the Anomadex catalogues what people reported, where it was reported, and how sure I am that it was read correctly. It does not rule on what they saw.

A quick ask from the person behind the Anomadex: if you allow analytics, Google Analytics shows me which places, phenomena and searches you're most curious about. That tells me which regions and sources to add next and what to make easier to find. It never sees your name or anything you send me, and nothing is set unless you say yes. Privacy
