Couple observers possible bigfoot eyeshine near road on north boundary of Pearlington
The witness and a companion were driving at night in a swamp buffer zone when they noticed eyeshine in the fork of an oak tree. They stopped about 30 feet away and watched a single large amber eye lean out, move and stare at them for a few minutes without a visible face. Frightened, they drove past without checking behind the tree and saw nothing on the return pass.

Two witnesses taking a dog for exercise at the end of a swamp road noticed a large dark hairy torso-like shape beside a tree about 50-75 feet away and watched it shift for a few minutes. After driving to two other spots up the road, they heard footsteps approaching and then something running toward them through the woods, which frightened the dog. They left the area and returned later that afternoon, but the shape was gone.
Possible daylight sighting by boy near Meridian
The witness was walking alone in thick woods carrying a BB gun late in the morning. The witness noticed a brown-colored subject moving very fast at an angle across the view, first thinking it was a person on a dirt bike. The witness then realized there was no engine noise, only the sound of breaking sticks, and left the area quickly without telling anyone at the time.
