On a clear Sunday morning the witness was driving north on an expressway bordered by trees and brush. He noticed a dark, upright figure running across the road from left to right with swinging arms, continuing into the trees without slowing. He slowed near the spot where it entered the treeline but the figure was already out of sight.

Late at night at home, the witness heard dogs barking and howling and went to the door with a flashlight to scan the woods. The beam caught two pairs of eyeshine on either side of a tree a short distance inside the treeline at different heights. The figure stayed behind the tree without moving and was seen only for a few seconds as she drove past.

Two companions were riding on a dirt road at night when their headlights illuminated a tall, dark bipedal figure standing in the road. The figure dropped what it was holding and leapt into the adjacent woods. The witnesses stopped and found a half-eaten rabbit at the spot, noticed a musky odor, and found no tracks on the hard-packed ground before leaving.
