The witness was driving at night on a highway near Shingletown when the truck headlights illuminated a tall, dark, upright figure crossing the road. The figure reportedly walked with a very long stride and swinging arms, glanced toward the truck, then went up a roadside embankment and disappeared before the witness could speak to the passenger.

In darkness before dawn, a hunter walking toward a deer stand encountered a very tall bipedal silhouette about 45-50 feet away at a field edge. Three coworkers riding in a golf cart while collecting flags passed within a few feet of a tall pale human-like figure beside the path near hole 13. They drove past, confirmed they had all seen something, and turned back; two of them saw it again peeking from behind the elevated tee box before it moved out of sight. They left, returned minutes later in an enclosed cart, and heard repeated creaking sounds nearby before leaving the area.

The driver was turning left when deer ran across the road and the passenger shouted about something to the west. The driver only glimpsed a large dark upright shape already entering the tree line. The passenger, seated on the right side with a clearer view, believed it was a sasquatch chasing the deer.

The witness and a companion were working late at night preparing meat to feed sled dogs. While inside a walk-in freezer, the heavy door shut on them unexpectedly despite calm conditions. After exiting, they shone a light toward a trailer and saw a pair of very large reflective eyes about seven feet off the ground roughly twenty yards away. The eyes were gone after they returned with a brighter light, and the dogs that had been barking fell silent.

The witness had been duck hunting and got his truck stuck in mud, then started walking to find help. While walking along a grid road in rain he saw a large broad-shouldered figure move very fast into a treed valley and disappear after a few strides. At the apparent crossing point he found a single large water-filled footprint. Earlier that day he had found seven dead birds packed under a crop swath a few hundred yards away.

Two people were sitting around a campfire in early-morning darkness when they heard heavy footsteps approaching through the woods. A creature passed through the campsite toward the river, then ran back and into the woods behind the camp, seen only as a fire-lit silhouette. After hunting from stands, they returned and found large five-toed footprints in sand that they felt were too large to be human.

The witness was tending a beach fire after midnight when he noticed a dark bipedal figure walking south along the waterline in full moonlight. He ran to intercept it but could not catch up as it moved very quickly toward the jetty, then turned to face the ocean, arched its back and appeared to look back at him before disappearing near the jetty shadows. No tracks were recoverable because high-tide waves covered the waterline.

Looking down a private lane near a parking lot, she saw a set of large blue-white eyes high off the ground with smaller similar lights below. The eyes stayed still then swayed while the smaller lights moved and appeared and disappeared, prompting her to leave. She returned shortly with relatives but found no trace.

The witness was catfishing alone at night by a spillway when he illuminated a pair of eyes watching him from across the water. He kept his light on the eyes, tried a deer snort and threw rocks, after which the eyes backed away silently and the animal walked toward brush. He left shaken, estimating the animal at about 5.5 to 6 feet tall despite never seeing its body.

The witness stopped on the dam at Stumpy Meadows after fishing and driving back. While looking into trees about 40 yards away, the witness watched a pair of large red glowing eyes for about two minutes, then saw an upright outline step sideways behind a tree. A second, shorter set of red glowing eyes and a smaller stocky figure were then seen nearby.

While driving to work in the morning, the witness saw a large reddish-brown long-haired animal crossing the road on all fours. The animal moved smoothly and unhurriedly to the opposite side and disappeared into thick vegetation near a creek. The witness noted a flat human-like chest, head set directly on the shoulders, and knuckle-walking, and interpreted it as a juvenile.

In July 2005 the witness woke at night in a prospecting camp and smelled wet fur. The witness then watched a large figure cross a creek about 20 feet away for about 10 minutes until it stepped behind a tree and disappeared after a truck bed light was switched on. A relative was present at the camp but did not see the figure.

The witness was driving east on Sagamore Road on a hot late morning. A dark brown or black figure emerged from the right and crossed the road and adjacent open area in three strides before disappearing. The witness noted its forearms held high, a silver-gray flash near the forearm and head, a stocky build, and height well over six feet. The witness concluded it was not a jogger because of its dark coloration in heat, inhuman speed, stride length, and thicker arms.

The witness was camping with kids on Oak Creek in July 2005. On two nights after 10 p.m. the witness and her daughter saw a short grey slender shape dash behind trees and run toward cover near the river, followed once by a thud and high-pitched shrieks. The family also heard patterned rock clicks and nearby walking and breathing, and noticed a skunk-like odor. The family became frightened and packed to leave.

The witness was staying at a cabin near Lake Mary and took two dogs for a night walk. The dogs began growling and pulling toward sounds of rustling leaves and breaking branches. The witness shone a flashlight and saw a huge ape-like but human-built figure about 200 feet away watching and swaying between trees. After a minute or two the figure turned and walked away, and the witness hurried back to the cabin.
Piercing scream heard by twelve people near Mays Lick
The witness's husband and another adult were sitting with boys camping in the woods on a moonlit night when the husband noticed a figure moving between trees, with moonlight visible between its legs. The group left the woods, and the next day the witness found footprints and poured a mold of one, plus other ground and vegetation signs. The investigator later reported the couple described a seven-foot-tall, wide-shouldered creature with a cone-shaped head and no neck.
