Large hairy biped seen twice, late at night while entering subdivision near Montgomery
The witness described driving into the back entrance of his subdivision late at night on two occasions within the last month. Both times deer gathered by the road suddenly fled as he passed, and he saw in his rearview mirror a large brown biped come out of the adjacent forest, run a few steps toward his car, then turn away out of view. He reported being scared and said he could give no further detail, recalling no odor or sound during the road encounters.
Possible nighttime sighting through a living room window near Potomac
The witness was inside the house at night after turning off the television when moonlight coming through the living room window was blocked. The witness looked up and saw a dark figure standing outside looking in for about three seconds before it moved away and moonlight returned. The witness first thought it was a human intruder and only the next morning, after considering the window height and slope, wondered about a very tall unknown figure.
Possible nighttime sightings by three family members on a farm near New Lebanon
The witness walked toward her car outside her parents' home around 3 a.m. with her puppy while neighboring dogs barked intensely. She saw a huge, thick human-like silhouette running south on the road very fast, concluded it was not a horse or ordinary man, and ran back inside in fear. She estimated it at 7-8 feet tall with a very large head, thick neck and wide shoulders, moving upright on two legs.

The witness, staying at a house for a short time, was looking out a window in the early morning and saw a tall figure by the clothesline pole. The figure was described as about a foot taller than the 7-foot-8-inch pole, brown on top with gray speckled lower areas, moving hunched over and scratching its back, with a strong skunk and manure-like odor. After watching for several minutes, the witness saw it take two steps into the nearby woods.

The witness parked with four teenage companions at a forest spot late at night to watch from a pickup truck. After tree knocks and whoop sounds, the group saw a very tall, wide upright figure silhouetted beside a pine tree in moonlight. The witness later found large footprints at the same spot and made casts.
Man has night encounter at home just outside Sam Houston National Forest
After a storm knocked out power, the witness walked a powerline to check for damage and then headed back toward the house. They noticed blinking eye-like lights high off the ground, smelled a musky odor, and made out a large bulky dark shape in weak flashlight light before running to the house. A short time later the witness returned with a brighter light and companions, saw the blinking eyes again in woods beside the house, then heard movement and a throaty howl as it left.

While driving to church on a Sunday morning in August 2004, the witness saw a figure standing behind tall vegetation near a pond. The figure was visible from the waist up, appeared covered in dark chestnut fur-like hair, and had very broad shoulders. The other occupant in the vehicle did not see it, and the witness reported not seeing it again.

Late at night the witness left a friend's house to walk a short distance home and heard rustling and branches breaking behind him. While running he heard a loud high-pitched scream he did not recognize. He paused at his doorway and watched a large dark figure part pine trees and come over a fence in streetlight before fleeing inside.
Witness noticed creature was human shaped.
The witness was driving to work on a county road when he noticed a large dark figure in an empty hayfield. On approaching closer, the figure looked human-shaped, very tall, and covered in black hair. The creature noticed the vehicle and moved quickly toward cover at a nearby creek. The witness later returned to the site with a relative to look for traces but found nothing.
