The witness and his father were walking to their deer stands before sunrise when they heard something moving parallel to them and smelled a musky odor. Something ahead screamed and howled, and a flashlight revealed eye reflections several feet off the ground. They retreated to the stream and at daylight saw dark fur moving through deadfalls in the distance.
Night time sighting by policeman on the Trans-Canada Hwy, ~100 miles west of Cochrane
The witness was a passenger in a truck traveling on the Trans-Canada Highway at night en route to a moose-hunting trip. A tall, dark-haired biped came out of the north ditch and ran across the two-lane road in front of the vehicle, turning to look at the occupants before continuing into the ditch and treeline on the south side. The driver reacted with surprise at the time but has since said he saw nothing. The whole crossing reportedly took about 10 seconds.

From about 150 feet above, the witness watched a dark brown, upright, hair-covered figure moving slowly through heavy brush below. When the witness shouted to the companion, the figure looked up showing a human-like face, then left quickly through the brush before the companion could see it.

The witness was driving south at night when headlights revealed eyes beside the road. As the vehicle slowed to a crawl, the witness saw a tall, hairy man-like figure by a large tree watching the vehicle as if waiting to cross. The sighting lasted about 15 seconds and the witness continued driving without turning back.

He approached the crossing point and saw a gorilla-like face peering from behind a cedar tree about 30 feet away. The witness and a companion were driving home from a fishing trip when a deer ran across the road and they stopped. The witness then noticed a large dark animal on the passenger side of the road that stayed motionless for a long time while being observed. It eventually jumped over a guardrail and disappeared down a brushy embankment while continuing to watch them.
