As they crossed a logged clearing they heard thrashing and a howl, then saw a massive dark biped run through brush about 60 yards away into the forest. After hearing another distant howl from the opposite direction, they left the area quickly.

After hearing a distant screeching sound and then a loud scream, they saw a short, heavy creature about 50 yards away that charged toward them. The witness believed the crashing was made by a larger animal accompanying the young creature.

The witness was walking uphill near Hunter Creek and climbing over a large fallen tree when they saw an entity stooped behind another fallen trunk about 30 feet away watching them. After a few seconds of staring, the entity turned and disappeared behind the tree. The witness then found several prints in the forest debris and followed them uphill briefly before losing them.
