The witness and a companion were hunting ground fowl in a clearing when the witness noticed movement and saw a large hairy biped about 400 feet away. The subject rose from a crouched position and walked across the field of view for about 20 seconds before leaving sight. The pair then left the area back-to-back, and the witness says he was scared and has avoided the area since.

The witness was fishing from one bank of a wide swift river when two loud branch snaps were heard from brush across the river. While watching that bank, the witness saw a bipedal figure move through a clearing for about three seconds from about 25 yards away. The observation lasted about 15 to 20 seconds in moonlight and was followed by a strong skunk-like odor; the witness stayed in the car out of fear.
