The witness was deer hunting alone on a mountainside when he noticed odd upside-down branch structures. He then saw a tall dark bipedal figure about 60 yards away watching him from a tree grove edge. The witness saw only from the mid-shoulders up for a few seconds before turning toward the companion and looking back to find it gone. The companion did not see the figure but heard movement and footfalls, and a strong musky odor was noticed as the figure moved away.

The companion heard the sounds and smelled the odor but did not see the figure, and the pair quickly returned to their vehicle.

Last summer the witness was kayaking down a creek around midday when rocks splashed near him. He looked toward the source and saw a creature kneeling like a person, which then stood, made eye contact for about 30 seconds, and ran through the woods. Only the driver observed the figure, as the front passenger was looking at a phone and the children were asleep.

The figure finished crossing on the south side, turned to look at their car as they passed, then went up a steep bank into woods with apparent ease. The witnesses noted its height and color in their headlights, and reported that a car ahead also slowed as if seeing the same thing.

After the witness threw a rock against a tree and heard a similar sound returned, they saw a large brownish-red animal squatted and swaying behind a tree upslope. They attempted blurry photos while knocks were heard from behind the camp and from the animal's direction before leaving at first light.

On reaching the far side it stood erect and continued running bipedally into the woods, glancing toward the car and showing a flat pale face with large eyes. The companion in the car was asleep and did not see it.

The witness was riding east on a highway with his wife driving when he spotted a tall upright creature in a field south of the road. The creature looked toward the road and then moved southeast toward trees as they passed. His wife also saw it briefly after he pointed it out, while their daughter did not look up. The sighting lasted under a minute in daylight and windy conditions.

The witness and a relative were bow-hunting for turkey and had set decoys and a blind before stopping for lunch. The witness noticed a figure squatting at a trailhead across a field and alerted the relative. Both watched it stand, turn, and walk away into the woods down a slope toward the river, grabbing an overhead branch as it left. Afterwards they went to the spot and used the height of the grabbed branch to estimate the figure at about eight feet tall.

In the early afternoon the witness and companions were walking down an old logging road when they heard strange whistling, gurgling pig-like sounds and trees shaking nearby. The witness approached to about 30 feet and saw the back of a light beige, clean-haired figure with darker face and hands holding trees, which then struck trees, turned away, and ran off on all fours while whistling continued from across the road. Companions farther away heard the whistles, thuds and thrashing but did not see the figure.

The witness stopped and watched it cross slowly from right to left, noting very long arms, a hunched posture, and a strong putrid odor through the open window. The figure glanced toward the vehicle and briefly raised an arm as if blocking the headlights before continuing across.
