The witness was driving up Crane Mountain in daylight when a black hair-covered biped was seen moving up a steep embankment beside the road. They retreated inside as stones continued to strike the cabin on multiple sides. On November 2, 2013 around 4:45 p.m., the wife was closing the barn doors when she noticed movement downhill. The witness described it as all black with a long torso and very long arms swinging as it ran very fast and upright. They turned back to search the woods but found nothing there.

They watched for about 10 minutes as it moved crouched, scratched its head and made deer-like blowing sounds, then stood upright after hearing a shotgun clink, causing the hogs to flee. The witnesses fled on a 4-wheeler and one looked back to see it standing by a tree watching them leave.

The witness and a companion were surveying a property line early in the morning when they saw a creature standing beside a large bush near a drying bayou about eighty feet away. One of them shouted at it and it fled north. Tracks and hair found at the site were later documented by an investigator, with the hair analysis determining the hairs were bovine.

The witness was fishing downstream from family members when he briefly saw the lower legs of a dark figure stepping from the creek onto the bank and into dense brush. He searched the spot and found wet marks on rocks, disturbed soil, and dung, which companions helped videotape. He concluded the figure was unlikely to be human given the remote, rugged terrain.

From a viewpoint, a relative using a spotting scope watched a large dark upright figure move across a distant meadow and later return with a smaller figure first mistaken for a stump. The witness estimated it at 6-7 feet tall and over 300 pounds, moving very fast in a few steps with arms pumping and a hunched posture. The witness stopped at the crossing point but noted no odor and found no tracks due to hard ground.

On July 16, 1997, a tour guide driving tourists along a road stopped near a burned-out bridge and watched an upright, hair-covered creature for about 15 minutes from 70 to 80 yards away. The guide moved the bus forward and backward to give passengers views and tried to get a passenger with a telephoto lens to exit for photos, but no one would leave. The guide then drove away and could not relocate the creature on a later return.

The witness was deer hunting with companions and stopped to rest on a hill. A black entity about the witness's height ran very fast down the hill about 50 yards away and disappeared in about five seconds, with breaking deadfall heard as it left. The witness was startled, thought it might have been watching, and later wondered if it was a large bear or loose livestock.
