After other family members left the cabin for the evening, a father and his adult son stayed to clean the cabin exterior when stones began landing around them. They retreated inside as stones continued to strike the cabin on multiple sides. Two companions stopped while on a fishing outing to inspect a river area. They heard large animals moving on both sides of the road and believed they had interrupted two animals crossing. One animal then charged through brush, knocked vegetation down, and a tree was heard being ripped down, followed by silence and faint hiding sounds. Neither witness obtained a visual, and they left without crossing the river to investigate.

The witness and a companion were outside a rural farmhouse late at night when they noticed a bright light down the road. The light rapidly approached to within about 35 feet and hovered silently a few feet off the ground. After under a minute of observation, the companion retrieved a spotlight, and as soon as it was aimed the light vanished instantly. The witness checked the area the next day and found no marks or disturbance.

Around 3:30 a.m. on a warm night in late summer 2011, the witness ran outside with a rifle and flashlight after hearing a chicken squawking. About 100 feet away behind the garage, the witness saw huge orange eyes staring from above a chicken coop and estimated the figure at 6 to 7 feet tall. After briefly looking down to ready the rifle, the figure was gone, and the witness heard something crashing fast through brush to the southwest with heavy breathing. A chicken was found alive but missing rear feathers with a pile of feathers nearby and no digging.

The two looked at each other briefly, the witness does not recall how it departed, and a foul smell followed back toward the truck. The next morning the witness recovered the hounds still treed with a bobcat.

Nearly two decades earlier, the witness was rowing back to a rocky campsite at the end of the lake near a creek at dusk with his dog after fishing for trout. The dog alerted toward shore, and the witness watched several small trees bend down in succession as if pulled from the top and snap back, progressing toward the campsite with no heavy footsteps but a low humming vibration that was felt more than heard. He rowed in to check, found no tracks, broken brush, or animal, only two old swan carcasses nearby, and spent a quiet night.
