Footsteps in Louisiana (2019)
The witness was camped overnight in a remote forest clearing with his child while another camp was nearby. Around midnight the woods went silent and something large approached on two legs, walking around the tent and making contact along the roof. The witness stayed quiet in the tent holding a handgun until the visitor left toward the woods, with normal night sounds returning much later. In the morning no clear prints were found and the companion said he had heard movement.

Around midnight on January 21, 2017 the witness was making calls from the front porch and received a wood knock response from across the street, which drew the dog into the woods. When the dog went quiet the witness entered the woods, beat on an oak and shouted for the dog, then heard knocks, chest-beating, howls, a bluff charge and a tree pushed over while seeing eyeshine. After the witness told the entity to back away, the dog returned and they went home.

Late on a winter night the witness took the dog outside and saw a large hair-covered figure standing near a small building about 20-25 feet away. The witness and figure observed each other while the dog wanted to go inside and a strong foul smell was present. After briefly looking away at a noise, the witness went inside for a handgun, and on returning the figure was gone though sounds remained in the woods. A large footprint was found the next day.
Strange late night sounds heard near Norwood
The witness was rabbit hunting at night and walking out of the woods along an old lane. Something in the brush to the side paced him for about 150 yards, stopping when he stopped, but his flashlight revealed nothing. Becoming scared, he turned off the light and ran to his truck.

The witness arrived late for an evening deer hunt and climbed a stand. A doe bedded under the stand, then a tall black creature jumped about 20 feet between trees and stared with intense eye contact. After he aimed his scoped rifle it growled, beat a tree, exchanged whistles with another unseen mover, and he fled half a mile to his truck. He fired a warning shot, drove away as a hand reached for the tailgate, and saw a second creature in the mirror.

A group of youths watching cattle from a hill saw the herd become anxious and flee a corner of the field. They went to the fencerow to investigate and found reddish hair on barbed wire and a small pine twisted and knocked over high up. After hearing movement, two of them saw a face with gray-white eyes and reddish hair about seven feet up near the broken tree and watched it for about two minutes before fleeing.

On a clear sunny afternoon the witness as a child was playing in the woods behind the house with a relative and a companion when they heard something large breaking limbs and fled to the yard. From the yard about 300 yards away they saw a tall black man-shaped figure standing between trees at the woodline watching them until they went inside. The figure was described as about seven feet tall, muscular with long arms and a pointed head.

The witness and their mother were inside their lakefront home near dusk when outdoor sounds went silent and their tethered dog howled and rushed inside to hide. Both then heard a loud non-human scream described as between a woman and a cougar, followed by loud splashing as something large moved through the water along the lake. After about five minutes normal swamp sounds resumed, suggesting whatever made the sounds continued down the lake.

The guest and his friend went behind a pond to flank others during a nighttime bottle-rocket war. They heard loud raspy heavy breathing and saw a tall hairy figure approach on two legs. The guest shone a flashlight on its torso and yellow eyeshine before it raised a large hand to block the light, and both boys fled screaming.

The [name withheld] family was at home in a heavily wooded area when the dogs became fearful, usual night sounds stopped, and a strange stillness and odor were noticed. They then heard limbs breaking across the road as if caused by something large. The next morning the husband found a trail at the location that he could not identify.

When they stopped once, something nearby gave a very loud scream described like a tornado siren mixed with a distressed cow, and it continued to follow them until they reached the car.

The witness and two other children walked past a forbidden cattle guard toward the woods and smelled something like something dead. After a few more steps, something gave a deep guttural growl from the edge of the woods to their left. They ran back to the house and were scolded for going past the guard.

At night he heard unexplained shrieks and yowls, and on the last night something large leaned over his tent breathing before walking away.

The witness stopped a logging truck and trailer at a job site in the early morning to tighten straps. After noticing a rotten smell, the cab door shut and straps were yanked on the opposite side. Looking up, the witness saw a huge hairy creature with an elongated pointed head and sausage-like fingers watching and sizing him up. The creature backed away and bolted for the nearby treeline when another truck's lights appeared, and the witness later left trucking after being ridiculed.
