Around the second home the witness found toy trucks moved from a lidded sandbox to the steps two mornings, footprints behind the barn, broken trees, newly piled sticks by the pond and a small teepee structure. Later the trampoline was shifted about nine feet back and seven feet sideways, a makeshift clothesline gutter was torn off, a rock was heard flying through trees in daylight, and brief strong skunk-like and dead-meat odors occurred.

At his first home the witness repeatedly heard loud slams like logs or rocks hitting ground over about two weeks. On the last night he went to the yard edge with a spotlight and gun and heard something like a bulldozer coming down the hillside. It stopped at the wood line and he saw nothing, including no eyeshine.

A fish farm worker told the guest about a screamer on the high island by the farm that screamed, ran around, and threw rocks making big splashes. The next day it was low near the tide line screaming as two large trees fell into the water, and other shifts reported it returning in later years.

The guest relays a story about a bushman who was in a forest by a salmon stream. The party smelled strong licorice, found fresh little footprints in sand with water still flowing in, and heard chattering and brush rustling without seeing anything.

They smelled a strong odor and watched a hairy creature emerge in pines about 75 yards away. After the cousin accidentally fired buckshot, the creature charged, smashed the stand legs, destroyed both guns, and the boys fled home.

A few days before the October chum opening, the guest and three others were anchored off Village Island when banging, chirping whistles and a strong stink were noticed. In the spotlight two upright creatures were seen on the beach, one larger in the grass and one smaller below, which crouched and covered their faces. Rifles were aimed but not fired, and the figures later left into the bush, with further eye-shine, scenting sounds, and a tree bent as one departed.

The two hosts saw a strange diamond-shaped orangish light hovering above a river at night. They stopped the car and filmed it on night vision. The light appeared to react to their interest and seemed intelligently controlled and silent.

The callers mimicked owls, crows, roosters and other animals while closing in on three sides, with silent heat signatures behind. The mood shifted from playful to threatening with infrasound effects, forcing a hurried load-up while the large beige male swatted a companion and the group drove away amid loud noise.

The witness was parked at night with three companions by a large honeysuckle bush at the woods edge. After hearing branch-breaking sounds, a companion threw a vodka bottle into the bushes and it was thrown back past them into the road. They fled by car, had to move a large branch blocking the road while smelling a foul odor and hearing movement around them, then left and avoided the area.

On more than one late-morning solo hunt, a hunter experienced complete quiet followed by intense anxiety and left the woods for the road to wait for a ride. While leaving he heard branches breaking and brush moving behind him but never looked back.
