One night a very foul stench approached the house and was strong enough to make breathing difficult. The father moved the children to an interior wall, opened a window facing the horses with a shotgun, and said he would shoot the unknown visitor. The guest feared he would hit the horses.

The guest's family walked onto virgin county land across from their home to plan trails. They found dozens of sets of prints of different sizes that dwarfed a child's hand. A foul urinary skunk-like odor hung in the air and the group felt uncomfortable.

He then heard fast movement through the bedroom door and checked his daughters' room to find them deeply asleep. The experience kept him up checking on his family.

While sleeping on his stomach, the witness felt hands wrap around his ankles and yank him from bed. He was dragged face-down through a long hallway without feeling expected pain, then sensed a sudden shift from wood to an ice-cold metallic floor where he could slap his hands for friction. He remembers nothing after that and woke in his original sleeping spot but on his back, a position in which he cannot normally sleep.

While watching television in bed with his mother, the witness noticed movement in the dark hallway outside the bedroom door. A large, bulky blue form crossed the doorway briefly. The sight frightened him, especially coming immediately after a program about abductions.

The witness's younger brother has on several occasions reported a horrible stench after coming inside from feeding animals at night.

While tent camping with family, the witness knocked a stick on a tree and got a reply, yelled and got a loud yelled reply through the valley. That night deer and birds vanished, and a felt growl between tents woke the witness and wife with a putrid smell, but a flashlight search found nothing.

While biking with her father, the daughter rode ahead, fell off her bike and fled screaming that a black furry thing with upright ears and a massive neck looked at her and came toward her before retreating into bushes when it saw the father. The father saw only black fur and rustling and later called fish and game.

The driver broke down on a rainy highway and was working in the back of a tall cargo van. A snorting sound came from outside, and a large hairy face appeared inches away in the open door. The creature vibrated the van with a loud growl, reacted to a pistol, then left. Lightning revealed two more figures nearby, and the driver fired and fled to town.

The following summer the witness's mother and sisters watched the tree line because cattle were bunched in the barn. Something unseen thrashed trees violently at the brush edge about a hundred yards away. It was judged larger than a [name withheld] previously seen on the property.

When the witness was 13 he saw a single ball of light high in the air bouncing erratically like an insect and moving very fast. After about four seconds it shot off so fast the light appeared to stretch before disappearing.
