The guest, a soldier in training, went for an evening run on a straight road through woods on base. Something in the woods mirrored his footsteps and paced him as he ran back, staying about 25 meters away despite his speed. At the edge of the woods near the barracks he heard a tree smashed apart and saw cream-colored legs from the waist down before the figure walked away.

The witness and a companion fished in a restricted watershed and stayed late to leave under cover of darkness. While biking out on the service road they hit a strong rancid smell they could not source and both felt they were being watched in still, quiet conditions. The witness hiked alone on a forested trail in eastern Tennessee. He noticed a shadow and heard loud bipedal footsteps that circled and then followed him. When he stopped the steps stopped, and when he ran the steps stayed close. He left the trail without ever seeing what made the sounds.

After midnight the witness and a relative were awakened by barking dogs and noticed a rank odor in the house. When the witness went to get water he saw a large hairy head staring in through the kitchen window for about 30 seconds. He retreated to load a rifle while both heard a loud howling from the yard, but the figure was gone when he went outside with lights on.

The witness claims they were sitting alone fishing on a riverbank in the early evening when they heard prolonged rustling and noticed a strong foul odor growing stronger. After about 10-15 minutes they turned to see a very tall, broad, dingy-brown hairy figure standing 20-30 yards away staring at them without moving or making sound. After a brief stare-down the witness dropped their fishing pole and ran about a half-mile to their car and drove home, and states they have never returned to the spot.

He felt the truck shaken gently and then violently, then saw a large hairy upright creature take two strides into nearby young trees. They awoke to live gunfire and powerful roars that made three men ill, then approached to find special-operations personnel standing over two shot Sasquatch bodies. After the female died before them, the team was removed, threatened with prosecution if they spoke, and later found the site cleared.

Two companions bowhunted for elk and hiked out after dark toward their truck parked behind a locked gate. Along the ridge and back to the road they repeatedly noticed a moldy, musky odor and felt as if they were being watched. Near the truck they found very large human-like footprints, about 16 inches long, overlying their own earlier tire tracks. They saw no live animal and left quickly.

While working alone to clear trail, the witness heard something moving parallel to him downslope for a couple of hours. The footfalls sounded clearly bipedal and the unseen mover easily kept pace through steep, brushy terrain. The witness never saw the source, noticing only moving saplings, and the sounds stopped about half an hour from his truck.
