Late at night while driving home over a river bridge with the convertible top down, the witness saw a large brown-haired being bent over in the lane apparently picking something up. As she slowed and moved to the other lane to pass, the being froze motionless and she was hit by an overpowering foul odor. She then accelerated home to tell her husband. The encounter happened around midnight about a quarter mile from her home.

The witness was hunting hogs from a stand when he smelled a strong musky odor and climbed a ridge to investigate. Objects including a heavy rock were thrown toward him, with one landing at his feet. The two hunters arrived late and set up camp and a tree stand in darkness in a hollow bottom. One hunter returned alone to retrieve a phone and heard pacing footsteps, a very loud voice repeating a name, and a laugh, then saw a huge dark shape in tall weeds and fired twice before fleeing. Both hunters were then circled for hours by fast-moving unseen things that stayed out of flashlight range, threw out a poisoned hot dog that was quickly taken by something running on two legs that coughed like a person, and found the heavy welded stand ripped from the tree in the morning.

In the evening the witness and two family members were at home when a strong foul odor entered through open windows. A relative then saw a large hairy unclothed figure watching the house, chased it toward the chicken area where it carried a chicken, hit a wire fence and leapt over a brush pile to escape. After hearing footsteps and bushes rustling, a tall hair-covered creature placed its face at the window inches from the witness and stared for several seconds. The witness screamed and the group fled to another room, after which police searched but found nothing. The witness later said the creature matched descriptions of bigfoot she heard.

While hunting over multiple seasons, one hunter repeatedly saw large round dark shapes partly obscured by trees that he first took for deer rumps. The shapes never offered a full shot and sometimes appeared as several at once, with slight movement. He later concluded they were peeking creatures rather than deer.
