On driving back through the same spot, the companion watched a similar tall black figure with wide shoulders and a rounded head for 15-20 seconds before it stepped behind a tree and vanished. Moments later the companion saw branches about seven feet high moving in a row as if something tall had run through.

She noticed movement near fruit trees by the driveway and saw a very tall figure that paused behind a tree before running uphill on two legs with swinging arms. The figure looked pale silvery-gray and shaggy, glanced over its shoulder, then leapt off the road down a steep embankment into brush. Next morning she found matted grass and a hole in the bramble where it left the road, but no clear tracks.

The witness and a younger relative parked and hiked toward a beaver dam meadow. The relative heard knocking sounds and then saw a tall hunched hair-covered figure with striking yellow eyes watching from the treeline, while the witness smelled a strong odor and the dog barked and kept looking back. The group walked back to the truck without running while hearing twigs snapping behind them, and later wondered if they had disturbed the animal while feeding.

In July 2007 the witness and a companion were riding ATVs back toward camp in the evening when the witness noticed a low shape beside the trail. As he passed, the shape stood to about eight feet, faced away then looked over its shoulder and extended an arm toward him, causing him to duck and accelerate away. He also reported a strong elk-like odor. The companion ahead did not see the figure but noticed the witness was shaken afterward.

Looking around, the witness saw a brown-furred biped about 100 feet away walking up a slope out of a ravine with its back turned. The creature briefly steadied itself with a hand on a tree and continued uphill without looking at the witness. Frightened, the witness finished loading quickly and left the area.

He felt the truck shaken gently and then violently, then saw a large hairy upright creature take two strides into nearby young trees. While biking with her father, the daughter rode ahead, fell off her bike and fled screaming that a black furry thing with upright ears and a massive neck looked at her and came toward her before retreating into bushes when it saw the father. The father saw only black fur and rustling and later called fish and game.

The witness climbed alone into a remote hidden valley he had wanted to explore for sign and chewed bones. While eating lunch he heard a bark from behind, did a tree knock, and shortly after heard a tree being pushed over to his left. He saw a very dark massive shape in cover and chose to leave for safety rather than approach.
