Three people went by car into a heavily forested area in the early morning to be alone. About half an hour after arriving they heard rustling followed by a loud bellowing scream. As they ran toward their car, the main witness reported seeing the front of a tall dark figure about seventy feet away and hearing it flee into the woods before the group left quickly.

The witness and a friend were watching TV late at night when their pet goose became agitated and they heard branches breaking outside. They took flashlights outside and watched an ape-like animal crouched at the woods edge across the street for about 10 minutes, noting its long hair, eye color, and behavior in the lights. They watched two large greyish furry figures, one pounding and shaking a thin tree and the other digging in snow, while noticing a foul odor. The creatures vocalized and ran off when they noticed the witnesses, who briefly tried to follow before giving up.
