Campers hear something "running" through camp & find very large footprints
The witness and companions were in bed at a hunting camp late at night when horses were spooked and something ran through camp while making a strange yell. They thought it was probably a bear at the time. The next morning they found large man-shaped tracks and later used the story to scare visiting relatives.

A group hiked to remote mountain lakes and fished. The witness heard branches breaking and a very loud wood-on-wood knock, then smelled a strong foul stench. Pine cones landed sideways next to the witness and large tracks were seen in smashed grass, with a sense of being watched and shadowed until leaving the plateau. No creature was seen.

Two trappers set up camp to trap beaver and found their camp demolished and human-like tracks around it. At night they heard rustling, smelled a foul stench, fired a shot and heard something flee. After separating in the morning, one man found his partner dead with a broken neck and bite marks and fled, blaming a wild man.
