Possible daylight sighting by a couple at Geneva-on-the-Lake State Park
A family of four driving through Geneva State Park in daylight stopped after noticing a large dark bipedal figure moving through snowy woods. The figure was watched briefly for about ten seconds before disappearing. Shortly after from a nearby parking lot the adults made whoop calls and heard replies described as whoops, a scream or growl, and wood knocks, while also noticing a strong unpleasant odor.
Possible night time encounter while fishing near Atwater
Two brothers were night-fishing from a secluded point when they broadcast loud predator calls for about 90 minutes and then sat quietly. The witness heard footsteps approaching through the woods and shone a high-powered spotlight toward the sound. A loud, deafening scream/roar erupted, terrifying both men, who then gathered gear and left with one covering their exit. They reported sensing movement about 20 to 30 yards away and hearing branches breaking in another direction but seeing no distinct shape.

Two coworkers arrived at a creek to fish before dawn after a night shift. Shortly after getting out of the car they heard a loud scream and strange yell-like sound from ahead, followed by something moving through brush. After fishing until daylight they walked the creek and found two large barefoot-like prints in a sandbar near disturbed mussels, leading up an embankment into dense thorns.
A young hunter witness's a seven foot tall creature less than 25 feet away
While hunting and returning down a trail, the witness encountered a tall brown-haired creature by a tree and stared at it. The creature vocalized, approached after the witness placed a gun on the ground, then walked away. The witness tried to follow but the creature ran off too fast to track.
Daytime sighting by two witnesses, near Geneva, at the end of Timberwoods Rd
Two companions shoveling snow noticed barefoot-like prints and followed them into the woods. They watched two large greyish furry figures, one pounding and shaking a thin tree and the other digging in snow, while noticing a foul odor. The creatures vocalized and ran off when they noticed the witnesses, who briefly tried to follow before giving up.
Sasquatch sighting in Ohio (2000)
The witness was driving away from a private lake late at night when a small hairy biped ran across the road into the front of the car. The impact caused major front-end damage and left fur and blood, and the witness heard a thud as the animal hit the pavement. While slowing, the witness heard a loud roar from the treeline and later heard crashing and growling alongside the road while driving around the lake, feeling chased.
A group of canoers see a large, black creature along the river bank
While canoeing down a wooded fork of a river, the group smelled decay and then saw a dark creature watching them from the trees. The creature followed them along the bank, ran ahead to a river bend, splashed and climbed the opposite bank, then later crossed an open clearing. About 20 minutes after the last sighting the group thought they heard shrieks shifting from high to low pitch.
Two high school students are chased by large unknown creature
Two high-school companions went to an old single-lane railroad bridge at night to look into stories that it was haunted. While walking toward an abandoned barn they heard approaching rustling, then a loud scream-growl and heavy footsteps. A large shaggy creature reportedly ran at them on all fours, stood up about 15 feet away, and chased them back to their car before leaving when something else came down the road. They returned the next day and found odd-looking footprints.

The witness was following dogs while hunting raccoons in the woods with a party. A loud scream, loud crashing noises, and an awful smell were encountered. The dogs returned scared to the trucks, with one smelling of skunk.

Three children walking on a wooded footpath noticed a tall female-like figure with a smaller juvenile standing by a tree off to the side. The larger figure stared at them, gave off a dead-animal smell, stepped toward them, growled and bared its teeth after being pointed out. The group fled toward a residence while hearing branches breaking, prolonged howling and screaming, and trees being beaten.

On a weekend morning the witness and two companions walked down a trail toward the back fields and noticed a strong odor of death and wet dog. The witness saw a small hairy juvenile peeking from behind what proved to be the leg of a very large female standing motionless in a clearing. After he pointed at her she roared, the group fled while hearing screams, howls and chatter around them, and the next morning a large log they played on was found broken.

A relative heard prolonged awful screams from the woods, saw bushes and trees shaking violently in headlights, and later found dead animals.

After partying at a private lake, the guest drove out late and struck a two-foot hairy juvenile that ran into his car's headlight. He heard a thump, slowed, then heard a loud roar from the woods and fled. While circling back behind the lake he heard growling and movement following through the woods and sped away.
Footsteps near Lancaster, Ohio
The witness walked a dog around a lake road bordered by tall woods. Something walked on two feet alongside in the woods and the dog became distressed. After turning back, a very loud scream vibrated through her and she ran to a house where others had also heard it.
Rock throwing in Ohio
Two relatives were bass fishing from a small boat when rocks were thrown toward them. After beaching, one threw rocks back, the creature screamed, stepped out, charged and struck one man hard enough to break ribs and puncture a lung, then threw a log that cut his chin. It reappeared swaying and clicking, then leapt a great distance and ran off on all fours. Authorities and later visitors called it a bear and told them to leave it alone.
Scream near Rome, Ohio
The witness and two companions were camping on a secluded river property in southern Ohio and hiked a steep hill to a rocky outcrop. A very loud scream likened to a banshee came from the campsite area, followed by intense coyote vocalizations and intermittent rustling as they hurried down. No person was found at the bottom, and years later they recognized a similar sound on a Bigfoot television show.
