The witness was deer hunting from a tree stand in the evening when two does fled past appearing nervous. He then smelled a strong foul odor, a log was thrown against the base of his tree, and something moved away through thick brush without being clearly seen. A loud scream was heard shortly afterward from the far end of the woods, after which he remained in the stand for about an hour before leaving.

He smelled a terrible odor and was paced by something unseen that stopped when he stopped, then heard screaming, breaking limbs, and saw a large log thrown and trees violently shaking. Two roommates heard loud wailing vocalizations from outside while watching a movie late at night. The sounds started low and guttural then rose to a high wavering pitch and repeated after a pause, causing neighborhood dogs to react loudly. After the sounds stopped, the witness stepped outside, noticed a horrible smell and a feeling of being watched, then went back inside.

The witness and his brother lived in a small cabin and heard loud howling screams from the woods behind the house over about two weeks. The sounds seemed to come closer over successive nights despite shots fired toward the woods. On a final night a very loud howl came from right under the upstairs bedroom window, and the next day broken back steps, a splintered door frame, a strong foul odor, and frightened dogs were noted, after which the witness moved out.

He fled down a trail while hearing running steps alongside him, then encountered a very tall standing figure that screamed. He ran to a companion's home and returned hours later to find the tent torn down and the thrown wood on the ground.

The witness and four companions were camping overnight near a pond when they heard vocalizations and heavy footsteps approaching. The group hid in their tent while something raided their food bag hung in a tree and ate their snacks. The witness peeked out and watched a large hairy biped squatting nearby eating bean dip before it stood and walked away up the trail. At dawn they found the food cache torn down and learned another nearby camp had also been raided.
