Sasquatch charges witness after son fires shotgun near Blackstone (includes audio from follow-up investigation)
Late at night the witness and a relative went outside to check a heavy thud behind the house. They saw a deer run past, then a very tall hair-covered human-like figure approach from the woods. After a shotgun shot was fired toward the treeline, the figure veered closer, stopped nearby, then moved along the treeline into the woods where it remained visible for several minutes. A strong odor was noticed and large footprints were found the next day.
Family finds large footprint, and hears unusual sounds
When the witness was about seven, the family found very large footprints on a Lake Superior beach. While leaving through the woods toward the car they heard loud screeching and something large jumping nearby without being seen. They left quickly in the car, with the witness feeling the source was too big to be people.
Sasquatch sighting
Five related men gathering firewood noticed something lurking without vocalizing and left. It followed them toward their house, so one shot it in the open with a scoped rifle. Police responded, removed the body, and told them they never saw it and not to talk about it.
