The witness and a fellow trainee were pulling night security in foxholes at a remote patrol base when they heard slow footsteps and had small stones and a stick land near them. The fellow trainee saw a tall boulder-like shape by a large pine that did not respond to challenge passwords, prompting both to fire blank rounds and the whole perimeter to open fire. The shape then left rapidly through the draw with loud crashing and a large splash in the creek, after which leaders arrived and joked about Bigfoot while the fellow trainee remained shaken.

She believes two young Sasquatch were attracted by earlier rock-throwing play with her grandson.

Four people on two four-wheelers stopped on railroad tracks at night to watch a distant light. While stationary they heard movement in the woods and then had rocks and large limbs or sticks thrown at them from the woods, landing on the tracks and splashing in a nearby ditch. The witness shone a flashlight but never saw what was throwing the objects, and the group left when the objects landed too close.

The witness, a Marine designated marksman, was ordered to kill an aggressive animal near Lake D on a Navy base on the Georgia-Florida border. After hearing a splash and seeing a branch thrown into the water one evening, he returned the next evening and watched a tall, long-haired biped cross a road about 40 yards away. He shot it twice, and it collapsed and died. Superiors and two men in a white car secured the body, told him to stay in place and later to forget the incident, and no written statement was ever taken.

A family living in a rural wood-frame home reported repeated nighttime visits over several years by two large hair-covered bipeds, one larger and one smaller. The creatures were said to peer in windows, mimic an infant's sounds, produce a strong septic odor, throw heavy tanks, damage a vehicle, and leave hair on the house. Livestock on surrounding farms were found dead with intestines removed. After the father fired through a wall at one creature, only the smaller one was reportedly seen, and activity lessened after relatives guarded the house and a protective ritual was performed.

Two hunters camping on a remote barrier island awoke in their tent at night to the sound of bipedal footsteps approaching. After silence, something struck their tent and they exited with lights to see a dark, man-sized figure running toward the marsh. They chased it to the marsh edge but could not catch it, and noted a musky odor. They later verified no other boats were present and concluded a person could not have been out in the freezing conditions.
