Unidentified sound near Morton, Washington
Several years before the interview, the guest was bass fishing with a club partner on a lake off Highway 12. For about 45 minutes they heard heavy branch-breaking and something moving along the shore paralleling their boat from about 20 yards offshore. His partner dismissed it as elk, but the size and single-animal character stuck in his mind and rekindled his interest in the subject.

While road hunting with family in a truck, the caller saw a creature standing beside the road behind a tree, holding the top bent over to look at them. They made eye contact for three to five seconds. When he looked away and back it was gone, the tree was swinging, and he glimpsed it moving downhill on all fours. After this he quit hunting.

Years earlier at an old farmhouse, the witness and his brother stood in the driveway listening to something moving through woods between houses. They heard branches breaking, movement across a road toward a power line trail, and a loud howl they did not recognize. They heard a second much fainter howl later suggesting great distance covered.
Odor
On the same Saturday evening, the group heard movement in brush, smelled a foul odor, heard snaps and a splash, felt watched, then saw trees thrashing and ran to the cabin.

New occupants thought a house was haunted because it was slapped and rocks hit it at night. They later saw something running from the house back into the forest. The teller offered it as similar to the Mississippi house case.

Scream in Louisiana
The witness went squirrel hunting with the stepfather in Middle Fort Bottom toward dusk. Something paralleled them in the woods, stopping when they stopped. When they stopped once, something nearby gave a very loud scream described like a tornado siren mixed with a distressed cow, and it continued to follow them until they reached the car.
Object throwing in Indiana
The witness and the same friend set up in a valley to call coyotes on a warm misty January night. A large green branch broke or was thrown down beside them and something large tore off in the opposite direction. They fled immediately and the witness later found the broken green limb.
