Hunter hears vocalizations, basketball-sized rocks rolled toward him
The witness was deer hunting alone in the morning when he heard an extremely loud low growling sound from dense cover upslope. He could not see the source even with binoculars, but saw branches shaking about nine to ten feet up and two basketball-sized rocks roll out of the cover toward him. Feeling watched and unnerved, he walked out calmly the way he had come while the sound continued until he rounded a bend in the trail.

On a dark night in August 1977, the witness was walking back to hunting camp near two lakes when he stopped at a creek to find the trail. He heard a low growl, called out thinking it was companions, then heard a louder deeper growl/moan and vigorous thrashing and shaking of nearby bushes to his right. A family group of six was inside a large tent at night during a thunderstorm when they smelled an overpowering odor and heard loud screaming approach. A large hairy figure stood over the tent, visible in lightning flashes, screaming for several minutes while the occupants huddled in fear. An adult companion left the tent, apparently confronted the creature amid scuffling and growling, then returned pale and blocked the zipper until dawn when the group left.

In August 1964 two teenagers were walking back to a family cabin in Big Cottonwood Canyon after dark when they heard footsteps matching their movements and a low unearthly growl. They ran through a gully to the cabin and locked themselves inside. They then heard the nearby outhouse door open and slam, saw nothing when they turned on an outside light, later heard the door fling open with crashing in brush, and spent the night upstairs.

A young renter living in an RV on another person's property endured months of torment. Creatures hit the RV, growled, ran off, damaged property, and were captured in photos and video with metallic gate sounds heard. A dogman-like individual with teeth and slobbering also appeared, and the homeowner's arrival scattered the creatures until the renter fled.
