In the early morning hours the witness was awakened by a deep growling grunt very close to the tent, followed by brush sounds as something moved away. In the morning the witness searched for tracks, fur, or other sign but found nothing, and concluded the sounds had been made by a bigfoot.

They then watched a very tall, broad, brownish-red haired biped with human-like shape approach the hut from 50 to 70 feet away before turning and walking away, after which they ran home.

The witness and a companion were camping in a tent on the witness's driveway in mid-October. Around 2 a.m. under a full moon, the witness awoke to grunting and snapping trees and saw a large hair-covered figure striking and eating a deer, then dragging it uphill. The figure approached the tent, giving off a strong musky odor and knocking a frying pan from a tree before leaving. In the morning the witness found deer remains, drag marks, and a shelter-like structure of bent and broken pines.
Man has repeated visits at family farm
In early fall 1980 around 7 p.m., the witness was in the kitchen after feeding horses while his wife brought in laundry. Both heard screaming near the corral gate, the wife ran inside frightened and horses fled, and the witness glimpsed a very tall dark furry figure moving through a lit patch while it screamed and made clicking growling noises before he went back inside and locked doors.

After getting down to chase the dogs off, the witness smelled a musky sour odor like a dead animal. A deep long growl then came from the woods across the powerline about 50 yards away, prompting the witness to back away and run to the truck.
