Fishermen have vocal encounter on river island
Two companions were fishing a branch of the river in the morning when they heard a sound like a dying deer and noticed a very strong odor. They then heard movement and footsteps on a nearby island but could not see the source over the terrain. One companion briefly reported seeing something he first thought was a bear and then suggested could be a bigfoot, after which the pair left the area.

The witness and a companion were fishing at a watershed in the morning. The witness heard splashing described as running through shallow water, then later saw a large dark-haired figure in a swampy area that quickly disappeared into the woods. The companion did not see the figure but saw branches moving.

Later the same year after dusk the witness found a relative knocked to the ground and then smelled a pungent odor and heard heavy breathing and footsteps retreating through woods and across a creek.
