Recollection of a possible nighttime encounter on a four-wheeler near Sullivan
The witness and two companions snuck out on a 4-wheeler into woods behind a house on a snowy night. They noticed a dead-like odor and heard monkey-like chattering, then saw a tall hair-covered biped walk toward them while growling. The group fled on the vehicle and on foot as the animal followed to within arm's reach without touching them, apparently driving them from the area.
Footsteps in Washington (1987)
In 1987 the witness was deer hunting and camping in eastern Washington. After the group left him alone at a logging road camp, he heard bipedal footsteps approach his tent at night, felt something strike the tent, then heard movement near his car and a log being torn apart in a gully before fleeing by vehicle to the highway. A night or two later he returned with a hunting companion and both heard multiple chattering, tonal and clicking vocalizations from different directions surrounding the camp.
Hunters experience possible vocals, find nests, get screamed at over three-day hunting weekend north of Reydon
Three hunters camped in a river bottom over the opening weekend of bow season. Over several days and nights they reported heavy impacts, rustling, a skunk-like odor, red eyeshine, wood knocks, whistles, talk-like mumbling, a whoop-ending vocalization, and bent trees and branch structures. The most intense moment was a predawn episode with a deep guttural roar followed by a scream-like sound near camp. They left early after smelling the odor again near a plum thicket.
Possible Nightime Encounter In Wharton State Forest
When the witness was 14, he camped alone in a forested area and noticed something in the brush paralleling him as he returned to camp near dark. The presence circled the camp and later approached the tent, producing an extremely loud scream followed by growls and chatter, then retreated after the frightened witness yelled back. The witness stayed awake all night, left at first light, and never saw what made the sounds.
Sasquatch sighting in Ohio (1977)
On a weekend morning the witness and two companions walked down a trail toward the back fields and noticed a strong odor of death and wet dog. The witness saw a small hairy juvenile peeking from behind what proved to be the leg of a very large female standing motionless in a clearing. After he pointed at her she roared, the group fled while hearing screams, howls and chatter around them, and the next morning a large log they played on was found broken.

The guest's mother arrived at his grandmother's farm at night and was hurried inside after being told a tall hairy creature was nearby. Family members then used a spotlight to show her a figure stepping out of the light along the tree line. The witness had been sleeping in the back of his pickup at a secluded clearing after a late work shift. Two people were settling to sleep in sleeping bags at a roadside camp late at night. They heard leaves and branches breaking and screaming from all around them and smelled a strong foul odor they did not recognize. Unable to see anything in the darkness without a flashlight, they grabbed their rifles, threw their bags in the car, and left.
A boy's summer encounter in a Saskatoon patch in Strathcona Island Park, next to Medicine Hat
In the afternoon after swimming, the witness ran ahead of the group on a winding trail back toward the campsite. Stopped by a strong foul odor, the witness noticed a large dark furry creature sitting among berry bushes a short distance away. The creature stayed motionless and made a quiet chattering sound, after which the witness ran away while hearing it crash away through the trees. No one else in the group saw or heard the creature.

A family bought an old homestead where the son repeatedly said little people bothered him in the forest, horses refused the barn, and the barn smelled foul. One evening during dinner the son pointed to a bay window and the father saw a three-foot-tall hairy human-like being by an outdoor spigot apparently chattering to others below. It made eye contact, widened its eyes, leaned back, and dropped from view. The father later found a rock-covered hole in the barn opening to caverns with strong odor, and a neighbor warned that dwarves lived under the old ruined house.

About a year later while jogging a few blocks north, the witness found a large bloodstain and a mangled domestic dog hidden in brush and heard unusual chattering he later said matched Sierra Sounds recordings.
Movement only in Texas
On Thursday night while three men sat by a vehicle, something crashed quickly through thick brush, flanked across the road and behind them. The witness followed the local guide into the treeline and a large log was thrown end-over-end toward them, hitting a tree. On leaving they found a log deliberately placed across the road where the thing had crossed and heard distant chatter and howls.

A young child reported a furry smelly cowman at the field edge, followed by an older sibling being followed by heavy footsteps and a father finding long coarse hair on a loosened fence wire. That evening the father and son were chased from the woods, night howls with whoops continued, and a large shape spoke and made faces at the bedroom window. The mother shot at an arm reaching for the child, the family fled, and returning days later found the house interior violently torn apart.
Vocalization near Columbus, Indiana
The witness heard coyotes in the woods behind the house and went in with a shotgun. He heard deer-like snorts back and forth, movement flanking him, clicking sounds and bird-like calls. Something followed him out, crossed the creek loudly, and a rock flew over his head. Later from the porch he heard a loud tree strike, saw movement running between houses, and next day found torn coyote remains and heard fences were down and dogs missing.
Chatter in New Hampshire
The guest's mother has reported ongoing activity at her home for years. She hears talking in the woods, rock and pebble throws, and scratching on the siding, feels watched, and sees movement. Her dog refuses to approach the woods across the street.
Sasquatch sighting
Guiding a night group, the guest used a thermal and saw a large figure step from behind a pine about 100 yards away, then a second smaller one peeking. They watched 15 minutes until the battery died, heard movement, screaming and chatter for hours, and next morning found scat and hundreds of footprints over their tracks.
Unidentified sound near Cut-N-Shoot, Texas
Over three years after the main walk, the witness reports recurring being-watched feelings, crashing sounds, silence, dog reactions, chattering and screams, odors, thrown sticks and debris, and one eyeshine about 8 ft high.
Chatter in Florida
While working in Florida, the witness repeatedly heard rapid chattering from woods behind the parking lot as distant coyotes went silent, and smelled a wet-dog and skunk-like odor from the swamp. The sounds lasted minutes and recurred on several occasions. Nothing was ever seen.
Sasquatch sighting near Anderson, South Carolina
The guest and his wife were sitting in a borrowed van in the driveway late at night when the wife saw someone run past and a loud whoop and growling started beside the van. The creature shook the van and was lit by brake lights, then the father fired a shotgun from the porch and it leapt across the driveway into the woods. Later that night rocks were thrown at the trailer damaging a fan and siding, and next morning bent van metal, foot impressions, feathers and a missing chicken were found.
