The witness was walking a logging-road loop with two dogs in the afternoon when the woods went quiet and the dogs froze. About 50-60 yards uphill the witness saw a very large shape standing among oaks and brush. The shape grabbed and shook two oak trees and made a loud wailing scream, after which the dogs disappeared and the witness left quickly for the house.

A silent light approached, hovered overhead, and shined a bright spotlight on the group, followed by several orange lights rising from the valley floor into the sky. At sunrise the two who remained saw several tall slender gray-haired humanoids with yellow eyes peeking from cover and felt they were being escorted off the land.

After feeling uneasy in young fir trees and hearing a loud snap near a brush pile, they noticed something pacing them in brush. About 100 yards from the paved road they saw the head and shoulders of a seven-foot dark silhouette between poplar trees at sunset; it shifted its weight, confirming it was solid, and they retreated to the road.

Two witnesses delivering newspapers stopped their pickup on a rural dirt road around 3:30am after seeing a large hairy ape-like figure standing in the headlights. The figure began to approach the truck and witnesses felt its midsection was clearly not a bear or other known animal. Both noted an overwhelming cabbage-like odor that caused one witness to gag.

As a young child visiting grandparents in Arkansas, the witness approached a small furry baby crawling near a compost pile by a fence. A much larger creature appeared in light through the trees, pointed between the baby and the child and motioned for the child to come closer. When the child's grandmother called for dinner, the large one blended into the background and additional figures moved away down the fence line.

The witness, then age 13, rode a bike up the road to get a newspaper with a dog alongside and noticed a strong onion-like odor. In a hollow beside the road the witness saw a very large, light-brown hair-covered creature eating wild grapes that looked at the witness and moved toward them. The frightened witness fled home on the bike as the dog also ran home, then looked back to see the creature climb over a fence and go back into the forest.

He reported a horrible stench filling the air and an absence of normal forest sounds, saying the sighting lasted about half a minute and left him avoiding the woods for months.
