The two hunters arrived late and set up camp and a tree stand in darkness in a hollow bottom. One hunter returned alone to retrieve a phone and heard pacing footsteps, a very loud voice repeating a name, and a laugh, then saw a huge dark shape in tall weeds and fired twice before fleeing. Both hunters were then circled for hours by fast-moving unseen things that stayed out of flashlight range, threw out a poisoned hot dog that was quickly taken by something running on two legs that coughed like a person, and found the heavy welded stand ripped from the tree in the morning.

A reddish-brown hairy arm reached through thick brush very close to the witness and snapped off a limb, showing a human-like hand. After the boar fled, an upright figure appeared at the tree line, stood over the boar's spot, and was then illuminated by high beams. She watched it through binoculars for about 15 minutes, seeing yellow eyes looking back, before leaving for camp without telling her husband why. Her husband, positioned nearby, did not see the figure but reported smelling something awful at the same time.

After daybreak, after several deer ran past appearing spooked, a tall bipedal hair-covered creature ran past the stand without stopping. Two more smaller creatures, one described as dragging a baby-sized one, then appeared briefly before quickly following the first, leaving behind a foul odor.

The witness was tracking elk sign alone in the late afternoon when he smelled a foul odor, felt watched, then saw several large bipedal animals scatter through thick brush and fled back to camp. The witness and spouse were hiking uphill in heavy snow when they found about a dozen very fresh, large barefoot-like tracks crossing the slope. As they examined the tracks, nearby foliage shook as if an animal was present, and they felt sudden fear and decided to leave. While descending about 300 yards, small pebbles were repeatedly tossed at them from behind, striking the witness in the back without injury until they began to run.

As they approached, they saw a tall brown-haired creature with a manlike head and gorilla-like body kneeling at the base of the tree. The creature stood up and ran a short distance into thick mountain laurel upslope, and a foul musty odor was noticed.

There he encountered a tall, hair-covered figure pulling at the pen wire, which turned to face him before fleeing toward the forest. A relative who ran outside also saw the figure running away. No physical evidence remained the next day after an overnight thunderstorm.

During a break they heard large movement in the brush, threw a piece of wood toward the sound, and then saw the backlit shadows of four hair-covered figures behind bushes in a break of sunlight. The witness described two large males standing motionless, a thin female with a hump who vocalized and wrung her hands, and a smaller child-sized figure, before the light faded and the pair left the area to finish work later.

During the night two who were sleeping heard noises and saw a tall figure leaning from the treeline, followed by louder crashing movement circling the camp. When they returned in the morning to collect belongings they heard a loud wavering scream and fled, later noting broken limbs in the area.

Three people fishing from a boat along a densely vegetated shoreline heard rustling and thrashing suggesting a very large animal nearby. They then heard a very loud, chilling shrill that frightened them, prompting them to leave quickly. As they left, they continued to hear the animal moving rapidly through dense woods uphill and repeating the shrill at intervals until it was roughly a quarter to half mile away.

The witness and two companions made a late-night camp in a forest clearing. While trying to sleep the witness heard movement in the treeline followed by a grunt and a loud unfamiliar scream estimated 50 to 100 yards away. In the morning the group found unfamiliar prints beside the fire pit and then left the area.
