While the witness waited at a fire, two companions went into a hollow after hearing noises. A large dark figure walked directly behind the witness without being heard. The son saw it silhouetted against the firelight with its head above a ten-foot branch.

While walking back on a trail, the guest's partner felt followed, stopped, pretended to tie a shoe, then glimpsed a fast-moving brownish-black humped figure about four to five feet off the ground. It ran behind a tree and down a small valley in one to two seconds. The guest was wearing a headset looking ahead and saw nothing.

A late-season hunter camping alone on a ridge was pinned down when something jumped onto his tent in the middle of the night. The weight broke two ribs against the gun he held on his chest. The thing growled, smelled foul, and held him like a wrestler rather than clawing.

A relative and two children heard tree knocking and a roar, smelled rotting fish, and later found similar prints while hunting.

Two visiting campers slept in the backyard after leaving gifts including plums. Around two in the morning one unzipping the tent heard something massive right outside that ran past with enough force to shake the tent and fled into the forest, waking the other. Morning showed most gifts gone except one plum and impressions around the tent.

The witness's older brother, solo hammock camping on a nearby trail, was awoken by feeling a hand push his shoulder and swing the hammock. He sat up, turned on his light, and saw nothing around.

Before the couple hiked together, the wife hiked alone in the same park and felt something parallel her. She heard steps matching her own even over earbuds, pretended not to notice, and calmly left for her car. She did not see anything and has not hiked alone since.

Range control halted firing for hours to search for anyone downrange. The guest did not see the figure directly and only listened over the radio.

While waiting on a porch after getting stuck hunting, the guest and cousin spoke with an older resident. She said that on the prior morning she had watched what looked like a stump in a clear-cut across from her house stand up and walk into the woods. She had thought it might have been a bear.
UFO sighting
The witness's father was driving home from a trade show in Las Vegas toward the desert town where he lives. A light followed the car, visible in the rearview mirror, keeping pace and stopping when the car stopped. He photographed and filmed it before it disappeared suddenly.
