Later in the same trip a distressed deer lingered at the edge of camp all day and night. Late at night while the group sat at a picnic table, something moved through camp just outside lantern light with heavy thumps. The witness first rationalized it as the deer but remained unsure whether it was bipedal or bounding.

After the night encounter the witness and others returned over about fifteen years to look for tracks, set game cameras, and leave items. The same crippled female was heard, smelled, and twice seen, shook brush, threw objects when angry, tore down a camera tree, liked squeaky toys which she broke and lined up, and watched a dog fetch before disappearing after a road and well brought more people.

The witness and his son camped six miles down the Lone Star Trail despite warnings. At night after the woods went quiet, something heavy approached bipedally, roared, reached through pines shaking and pulling them, and lunged with huge hands. He knelt and put his shotgun in its midsection but did not fire when it backed off, then it screamed, circled the camp throwing trees, iron-ore rocks and dirt while they kept a bonfire burning until early morning.
Property disturbance in Texas
On several fishing trips to a deep bend in the creek the witness tossed small caught fish up the steep bank behind him. He heard rustling behind him but never saw a reflection or figure, and when he climbed out the fish were gone. He found the repeated disappearance strange.

The witness returned with a friend and camped, heard footsteps by the tent at night, then walked alone across the creek on a foggy morning. He found a footprint, droppings and a dead smell, listened to heavy breathing behind a thicket for hours, heard a vocalization and a stick hitting a tree, then saw a head peering from behind a large pine. He viewed it through his rifle scope, saw teeth, then walked toward the trail as it left on two legs, and it paralleled him back toward camp.

At midnight the witness heard a loud multi-way yip commotion outside that stopped when viewed, with a skunk-like smell lingering the next morning.

As a child visiting grandparents, the witness walked a creek bed hunting squirrels and heard heavy approaching steps. A large black hair-covered biped crested the bank, looked around, then stared after the witness made noise. The witness ran toward the house and heard movement paralleling from the side.

While alone at his feeding station the guest heard a fast rushing approach through bushes as if he was about to be charged. He spun the camera around but the approach stopped dead into silence. Afterwards he found only disturbed foliage and leaf litter, no definitive footprints.

As a boy the guest was alone on the couch late at night while his mother took trash to barrels behind the house. Two small hairy creatures came onto the lit back porch and pressed their faces and hands to the glass door to stare at him, then looked at each other, smiled, and fled when the trash lid banged. His mother saw nothing but noted a skunk-like smell outside.
Howl in Utah
The witness went with family at night to watch the ranch from a hill after getting directions at a gas station. They heard close coyotes, saw blue fog spread over the fields, later saw carousel-like lights in the sky and a fighter jet, and on roads nearby saw house dogs walking with a coyote. Security spotlight and guards chased them from the gate.

The witness went with family at night to look for Bigfoot on a dirt road. He felt dread, shone a flashlight into a hillside and saw a pair of huge widely spaced amber eyes about fifteen feet away. After a slow blink and a powerful huff, the eyes vanished, shots were fired into the ground and the group ran to the car where a ranger warned of dangerous things.

The witness was bow hunting with a friend on private land they had used for years. While hiding beside a trail to play a prank, he grunted like a deer at an approaching figure he assumed was his friend. The figure stopped, stared directly at him, then crashed away through extremely thick briars and vines, and the real friend arrived moments later from a different direction.

The witness and companion parked in a new area cul-de-sac and sat in the car late into the night hearing crashing on three sides, a strong sulfury smell, and a long urination near the car. Near sunrise the witness saw two large dark furred animals on all fours outside the window reflecting green eyeshine. The witness got out and approached for a close look at their faces and build before returning to the car as they left.
Scream near Rome, Ohio
The witness and two companions were camping on a secluded river property in southern Ohio and hiked a steep hill to a rocky outcrop. A very loud scream likened to a banshee came from the campsite area, followed by intense coyote vocalizations and intermittent rustling as they hurried down. No person was found at the bottom, and years later they recognized a similar sound on a Bigfoot television show.

While with family on a trail overlooking water, the witness was struck twice in the face by acorns from an unseen source. Nearby tall grass showed large flattened indentations and a shifting foul odor like rotten meat was noticed. The group also found small rocks stacked largest to smallest before leaving the area.

At seventeen the witness went alone to a stand at an uncle's deer camp after rain. He smelled a strong skunk and rotting-meat odor, heard branches breaking in the swamp, then saw a tall black hairy biped rise and walk past. It looked at him and continued on, with odor and breaking brush lingering as it left.

At about age ten the witness was in a hunting blind with his father. He turned, looked up and saw something swing from one tree to another without touching the ground. The whole sighting lasted about five seconds.

While riding an ATV back to camp at night, the witness felt watched and then smelled a strong wet dead-dog odor. The witness felt intense fear and dread without seeing anything and hurried to the fire and tent.
Footsteps near Enterprise, Alabama
The witness was alone at night after pulling a deer into the woods to gut it. He heard cracking and clean snapping of branches circling just out of sight about 20 yards away. He could see nothing in the thick dark until his father drove by and he ran to the truck.
Growl in Virginia
The family dog was terrified the first night by a deep growl and later refused to go behind the house. With his cousin near the pond the witness felt dread and found scattered deer ribs, legs, skull and later skin with other bones gone. On another morning he heard a deer screaming, found drag marks, blood on a fallen tree and a dead deer with head bent back, while his white shepherd had no blood on it.
