In the same area that same year the witness was on foot after dark without a light, felt hair stand up and as if followed, smelled a strong almost-skunky odor, and hurried out while hunting dogs ran ahead to the house.

After his vehicle became stuck in snow on a high peak in February, the witness hiked miles at night to get cell reception and arrange a rescue. During the hike he found a freshly torn small coyote skull with no tracks, smelled skunk that vanished, and heard sounds like large trucks with no roads nearby. Weeks later his lost emergency locator showed movement and an SOS, and searches found a branch nest with a large X nearby and a trail camera that later disappeared.

The witness and his son were rowing across a different lake on the same property around midday when they noticed a white, propane-tank-shaped object sitting on or just above the flat water with no reflection, sound, or wake. They watched it move slowly and silently across the width of the lake until it reached the far shore and disappeared into the heavily wooded shoreline where there is no boat launch or access. The witness said he photographed the object and later shared grayscale and color versions.

The witness and his wife were camping at their remote property and sitting by a campfire after sunset when a low white light approached, passed nearly overhead, and continued behind the trees. A few minutes later they heard yipping that rose and dropped into overlapping grunting, screams and yells from about half a mile away, followed by total silence. The witness said he had camped there for decades and never heard anything like it, and later felt a recording from another Michigan case sounded nearly identical.

A squad leader on a midnight blocking position saw a dark canine-like creature in a crouch about 20 meters away making low growls. When he lowered night vision the creature ran fast at a low stance while others heard crashing. Later soldiers reported wet-dog odor and loud guttural sounds after coyotes fell silent.
Sasquatch sighting in Texas
The witness was camping with his uncle and two cousins when they saw a panning light and several fast black shadows cross a pasture. They challenged a suspected poacher, then heard clear bipedal footsteps outside their tent during rain. Lightning illuminated a massive man-like shadow on the tent with very long arms, which then ran away, prompting them to abandon camp for the farmhouse.

The witness and another person watched a light rise from a meadow, hover, grow from softball to basketball size, and shift from blue to vibrant yellow. It moved toward them to about fifty feet away, then darted toward a tree line and dissipated. It made no sound and lasted about ten minutes.
Sasquatch sighting near Nowata, Oklahoma
While hunting over multiple seasons, one hunter repeatedly saw large round dark shapes partly obscured by trees that he first took for deer rumps. The shapes never offered a full shot and sometimes appeared as several at once, with slight movement. He later concluded they were peeking creatures rather than deer.
Footsteps in Missouri
When the guest was about 13 he was walking with his small dog on an old logging road past the cave. The dog froze, growled, then yelped and ran. The guest ran with it while hearing something crashing through the woods behind them until they reached a clubhouse.

While hunting from a friend's blind, the witness noticed a bobcat high on a broken tree backing upward while watching the ground. He saw movement below passing the cat and believed it was not a deer or hunter. He watched it move through the woods but never obtained a clear visual.

The witness reports repeatedly seeing movement only in peripheral vision while in forests, cabins, and around trucks. Direct looks revealed nothing, but sideways glances showed forms moving tree to tree or between shadows, sometimes changing size. He addressed them verbally to be left alone and says they generally kept distance.
Rock throwing near Granbury, Texas
Sitting atop stored freight cars at night the witness and his friend threw rocks into the woods and heard one hit flesh with a deep thud. Rocks were then thrown back at them, sparking on the rails and clanging on the metal cars. After smelling a dead-animal stench and hearing more impacts they climbed over a barbed-wire fence to the road and took a long route home.
Odor near Granbury, Texas
Walking home in the dark the witness smelled a terrible stink and heard slow footsteps approaching in the woods. When he jogged and looked back he saw a huge black mass at a tree archway with reflective glowing eyes. He sprinted home barefoot after losing his untied shoes and stopped visiting his friend after dark.

While waiting early in the morning with his wife and daughters for buffalo clients, the witness flashed his lights at two approaching headlights. The lights came closer then vanished into a small ravine. The family drove over and found nothing there.

After being dropped on a ridge, the witness and a crew member saw flashlight-sized lights on a distant road that turned off when shouted at. They directed a truck to the lights, but the crew there found no one. The helicopter had remained in the canyon, and the crew member left the job the next morning.

While driving late with his cousin, the witness saw a canyon light up with a huge ball-like searchlight sweeping back and forth. They drove closer, turned off their lights, and the light vanished. After waiting and driving away, they saw it turn back on miles behind them.
Eyeshine
The witness and his father were driving back to camp and testing a new spotlight when they saw eyeshine by a large tree. The shape peeked around the trunk, dropped low, then moved rapidly up and down the tree without climbing sounds. The father told him to turn off the light and leave.
Dogman sighting near Leadville, Colorado
The witness and his father were watching elk behind their home when the herd suddenly stampeded. Using binoculars they saw a tall brownish figure with black chest patches running bipedally at unnatural speed toward where the elk fled. It paused briefly then ran off and was not seen again.
Odor in Virginia
The guest was awakened by a strong smell she associated with prior outside activity and shouted not to strike the balcony. She then moved to the kitchen side and heard something moving on the roof overhead. She described the period as a whirlwind of weirdness.
Tracks near Eureka Springs, Arkansas
After moving to a remote wooded property, the family found a very clear large human-like footprint with toes that was photographed with a tape measure. On separate occasions the child experienced a rock thrown past him near a creek, faint whooping, small trees moving together, a high scream-like whoop followed by a tree being pushed over, and the adults heard trees breaking and splashing into a pond. Dogs that normally chase sounds fled back to the house during these events.
