A group staying overnight in cabins was awakened around 3 to 4 AM by loud wood-on-wood knocking that continued on and off for about five minutes. The witnesses could not determine the direction or distance of the sounds. Some in the group had noticed a foul odor earlier that night, and a dog had reacted aggressively to something across the hollow the previous evening.

Two roommates heard loud wailing vocalizations from outside while watching a movie late at night. The sounds started low and guttural then rose to a high wavering pitch and repeated after a pause, causing neighborhood dogs to react loudly. The witness and his brother lived in a small cabin and heard loud howling screams from the woods behind the house over about two weeks. The sounds seemed to come closer over successive nights despite shots fired toward the woods. On a final night a very loud howl came from right under the upstairs bedroom window, and the next day broken back steps, a splintered door frame, a strong foul odor, and frightened dogs were noted, after which the witness moved out.

The witness was fishing from a boat near shore while a companion napped on board. The witness heard footsteps in water, loud roars, splashing, and an animal squealing but saw nothing because shoreline vegetation was very dense. Frightened, the witness moved away quietly and woke the companion, who heard part of the sounds as they left. At the marina a worker said a news crew had previously covered a Bigfoot report at the lake, which led the witness to consider that explanation.
