While photographing they saw green eye-shine above the brush and a large upright shadowy outline, then heard wood knocks, growling and heavy footsteps before the eyes disappeared.

The witness and his son were deer hunting from a blind in darkness before dawn. After the son woke the sleeping witness, they heard something large moving fast through brush behind the blind.
