Looking out a lit window from a few feet away, he watched a large hairy creature squat on the porch and rummage through trash bags for an extended time without showing its face. The creature then leapt down and left across a road and ravine.

A driver stopped for a deer sprinting across the road at sunset and then saw a tall hair-covered creature stop near the road edge before turning and walking back into pine forest. As the driver moved forward with the window down, a strong musty odor and loud deep grunts were noticed, with the creature seen about 50 feet inside the treeline. The driver then left the area.

Late in the evening the witness stepped outside and saw a figure standing in shadow. The figure crossed a lit area in about one and a half steps and entered the woods, with a rotten odor noticed at the time. The witness later described the figure as a tall, muscular, graying-haired figure with long arms.

Last summer the witness was kayaking down a creek around midday when rocks splashed near him. He looked toward the source and saw a creature kneeling like a person, which then stood, made eye contact for about 30 seconds, and ran through the woods. He noted its stride was wider than a human's and it went straight through brush. He then paddled back to his truck.

Two companions were deer hunting near their camp in the late afternoon when they heard loud popping sounds, heavy footsteps, and a foul odor. A large hair-covered biped stepped out of the treeline across a logging road and stared at them without moving or making noise. After a brief stare the creature stepped back into the woods and the witnesses fled and have avoided hunting deep in that area since.

Four young men camped on a companion's land and heard approaching grunts, heavy footsteps and foul odor across a creek at dusk. After a rock was thrown toward the unseen sounds, something shrieked, circled the camp and emitted a loud high-pitched scream, prompting them to leave and later return with a parent. The primary witness heard noises again overnight, and the next morning the group found large footprints, hair and a bedding area before the primary witness briefly saw a tall hair-covered upright creature that looked at him and ran away.

The witness was riding a bicycle on a trail through woods near a grocery store when a large hairy creature stepped into the path, causing a fall. The creature stood over the witness at close range and produced a loud howl/growl with its mouth open before leaving into the woods at high speed while breaking branches. The witness then rode home quickly and hid inside.

The witness and a companion were walking down an old pulpwood road with a dog when they noticed a strong goat-like odor and heard rustling and a tree shaking. The witness pulled back branches and saw a tall, hair-covered biped running away downhill on two legs. The companion did not see the creature. The witness lost sight of it in pines and underbrush near a swampy area.
Man has repeated visits at family farm
In early fall 1980 around 7 p.m., the witness was in the kitchen after feeding horses while his wife brought in laundry. Both heard screaming near the corral gate, the wife ran inside frightened and horses fled, and the witness glimpsed a very tall dark furry figure moving through a lit patch while it screamed and made clicking growling noises before he went back inside and locked doors.
