A woman fishing from the Iowa side watched her cousin and uncle fishing from the Nebraska side of the river. After a disturbance, a giant snake emerged mid-river with a human-like face, braids and feather, seized the uncle, constricted him and pulled him into the water. The son recovered the badly crushed but surviving man while police later attributed injuries to rocks.

The guest's friend was at a Sundance fire when small beings played peekaboo around the horseshoe mound. They popped up on one side, scurried on little feet to the other side, and popped up again. They were described as tiny Indians with feathers, braids and moccasins.
Object throwing in Nebraska
After a large rock was thrown on their grandmother's roof, two brothers and one of their sons went to a bank above a dark gully to tell the creature to leave her alone. Something threw an object hitting one brother, then grabbed the other brother's leg and started pulling him down the bank. The first brother grabbed his sibling's arm in a tug-of-war until the grip released.
