The witness and a companion were camping in a tent on the witness's driveway in mid-October. Around 2 a.m. under a full moon, the witness awoke to grunting and snapping trees and saw a large hair-covered figure striking and eating a deer, then dragging it uphill. The figure approached the tent, giving off a strong musky odor and knocking a frying pan from a tree before leaving. In the morning the witness found deer remains, drag marks, and a shelter-like structure of bent and broken pines.

Two teen relatives were in a back bedroom when dogs began making noise. They watched something come up the driveway from the cornfield, enter an open tractor shed, and toss the dogs aside. It then passed the bedroom window with its head above the window top, walking upright with a sway, before crossing a fence back to the field.

The witness describes being in the bush on a stormy night when hair rose on his neck and a strong voice that was not his own invited him in his head to stay the night to meet them. He later asked a counselor about hearing voices and notes similar experiences three other times.

The caller and her husband were camping off logging roads near the Oregon coast, with friends in a tent by the river and the couple sleeping in the truck. She felt stared at and terrified and blocked the windows, then her husband hurried into the truck saying he had seen a whitish-gray thing about four feet high and five feet long moving on all fours as if gliding. Both remained scared in the truck without investigating.

Before the caller joined him, her husband hiked a trail off logging roads near the Oregon coast with a friend and his dog to go fishing. The dog froze and refused to move as a putrid smell appeared from nowhere. They coaxed the dog onward, fished the day, and had no issues on the return.

The next night the group hiked a trail to a nearby quarry for night photography. The same colored balls of light appeared about eighty yards away moving through the woods parallel to them. The lights stayed alongside for several hundred yards to the quarry.

On a hot night around a summer holiday the witness lay by an open cabin window looking into the woods. He saw flashing red, blue and yellow lights moving through trees and down a road. Others in the cabin also looked, and companions with night vision described softball-sized balls. The lights disappeared after noise and activity.

The host relayed a tribal member's story about a woman who crashed down a ravine and was rescued and nursed by tiny half-foot beings who warned her not to reveal them. After she told and returned to show the location to a newspaper, she died in another car crash.

The guest went for a night walk in the woods near the family trailer to look at stars. A strange light stayed above him and seemed to follow as he moved. He panicked and ran to the house, then realized the light was his own flashlight in his back pocket.

One would speed ahead then the other catch up as if playing tag, which the reporters later admitted in the newspaper.

He was dragged face-down through a long hallway without feeling expected pain, then sensed a sudden shift from wood to an ice-cold metallic floor where he could slap his hands for friction. He remembers nothing after that and woke in his original sleeping spot but on his back, a position in which he cannot normally sleep.

While home alone recovering from a badly rolled ankle, the witness lay on his stomach on the living room couch and became paralyzed yet mentally awake. He felt intensely cold hands forcefully hold his legs and cut under his toes, while hearing movements on the wood floor. Upon fully waking and checking the house, he found no one there but later saw large missing chunks of skin under his toes.

On Halloween night the friend, the witness and the friend's son went into Rock Creek Canyon playing calls. They heard creatures trailing on both sides, humming growling, a large boulder splash in the creek, saw eyeshine of a very tall figure, then found a mature deer with a leg twisted and left quickly.

While biking with her father, the daughter rode ahead, fell off her bike and fled screaming that a black furry thing with upright ears and a massive neck looked at her and came toward her before retreating into bushes when it saw the father. The father saw only black fur and rustling and later called fish and game.

The following summer the witness's mother and sisters watched the tree line because cattle were bunched in the barn. Something unseen thrashed trees violently at the brush edge about a hundred yards away. It was judged larger than a [name withheld] previously seen on the property.

The witness was staying at a horse ranch to help with foaling. At dawn a distressed mare ran down a hill, and a tall white hairy biped was seen on the hilltop. The creature later came down to the barn, peered around it at close range, carried a dead foal and laid it in grass, then left with it through the woods. Neighbors later reportedly found the foal miles away with internal organs missing.
