At dusk the witness's dog barked at the tree line by the barn and then fled past him. The witness pushed through limbs into a clearing and saw a huge upright thing moving leaves with its foot. A second one then came around from behind him.

The witness and a relative were riding horses on a ranch trail in the morning when the horses stopped and refused to move. After the birds went quiet and a branch snap was heard, the witness saw the back of a large hair-covered being about twenty feet away moving trees aside before disappearing. The horses then galloped back to the barn, and the relative declined to discuss what happened.

Three residents described separate encounters in early June 1973 with a human-sized creature that chased them. The creature was said to be about 5 feet 8 inches tall and broad-shouldered, with red eyes sensitive to light, a musty odor, and silent movement. The witness and his wife returned in late January to a rock grotto where he had earlier found a possible bedding area. They found the bed intact but an old wagon moved from a ledge with drag marks in the rock. As they hiked out through a ravine, unseen actors on both ridges followed them for about an hour with knocks, whistles and other vocalizations, shaking and snapping saplings and throwing rocks until the pair reached the woods edge. Neither reported seeing anything.

When the witness was about seven, the family found very large footprints on a Lake Superior beach. While leaving through the woods toward the car they heard loud screeching and something large jumping nearby without being seen. They left quickly in the car, with the witness feeling the source was too big to be people.

While fleeing the farm on foot, the witness left the gravel road and became stuck in deep swamp muck and water. A large hairy bipedal female emerged from the tree line, waded to him, lifted him by his jacket, carried him back to the roadside ditch, and left. The farm operator arrived shortly after and transported the witness back to the farm.

The witness was camping with family and climbed a hill with cousins, rolling rocks from the top. They heard crashing in aspens across a ravine and saw a tall, long-haired figure standing on two legs about 300 feet away watching them for several minutes. After watching it rock back and forth, the group ran back down the hill. The witness maintains decades later that it was not a bear.

A group staying in a high-elevation pine forest reported repeated large footprints and strange nighttime sounds over an unspecified period. During one late-night episode, one person looking out from a shelter saw a large shape briefly enter moonlight and then leave. In 1971 the witness was alone watching TV at the parents' rural house near Myrtle Point. After hearing dogs bark, smelling a strong foul odor, and hearing footsteps on an outside plank, she saw a tall hunched hairy female figure pass a glass door. The figure stopped, turned toward her and made eye contact, after which she fainted and was later found on the floor by her parents. Her father searched outside with a flashlight but found nothing.

The witness, then ten, was accompanying a relative on a deer hunt on Peavine Mountain when both heard a long siren-like call from a shadowed draw to the west. The call lasted 15-20 seconds and was repeated multiple times, seeming to move farther away. The relative dismissed it as a fire-tower siren and ended the outing, and they left without further incident.

Three children were catching lightning bugs in a pasture at dusk while their grandfather called them from the porch. The grandfather saw an upright figure on a fence line drop to all fours and lope toward the children. He ran shouting, the children froze or fled, and the creature stopped, stood erect, then walked away into cedar trees while watching them.

On a southern farm in the early 1970s horses repeatedly became visibly sweaty, panicked and ran the pasture with wide eyes the morning after nighttime disturbances. The family found braids in manes and tails and large handprints in sweat on flanks and necks. A neighbor's similar report helped them conclude Sasquatch-like visitors were molesting livestock.

On returning to the bike, the witness saw an upright creature standing across a split-rail fence about 8 feet away, gripping the top rail and rocking side to side. The face was clearly seen in sunlight while the body remained in tree shade, and the witness left promptly without reporting it at the time.

A few days into a school camping trip, the first guest was standing with two other girls at the edge of a field after a softball game when the companions fled in terror. The witness turned, locked eyes with a tall hair-covered figure standing close behind, and ran in circles around it while it turned to keep eye contact until shouts from the group helped break the lock. Camp staff sent the children home early citing a bear, though the witness insisted the face and eyes looked human.
Teenagers have sighting of two creatures near Albion
In summer 1966, the witness and her older sister were talking in a parked car near a river in Albion in the evening while the rest of the family was on a nearby boat. Across the river they watched two large, hairy, bipedal animals chase a flock of about 50 sheep around a fenced pasture for 20-30 minutes. After dark they hid in the locked car overnight and reported the event to their parents in the morning, later learning several sheep had been killed with bellies and internal organs eaten.
