After moving to western Pennsylvania, the witness took his dog for a hike on Quarry Trail in Linn Run State Park. Something paced him in thick hillside brush, stopping when he stopped, followed by two tree knocks and a loud deep scream from further up. On the return the dog acted alarmed, watching the brush behind him until they reached a rock outcropping and left. A researcher later visited the same area and photographed a bare human-like footprint and overturned rocks.
Couple hear wood knocks and howls near Warren
The witness was camping overnight with family near a reservoir when he and his companion heard repeated loud knocks like wood hitting wood from about 100 yards away for about 15 minutes as the sound moved away. He also reported distant howling that he could not confidently identify. The next morning he noticed broken logs and bent trees near the camp. His young child was asleep during the sounds and did not witness them.
Wood knock near Kane, Pennsylvania
Over about seven years, group members reported hearing knocks, loud branch breaks and large bipedal footsteps, smelling foul odors and feeling watched without seeing a creature.
