The witness hiked into public land to bowhunt deer from a climber stand. After the woods went silent he heard two wood knocks, then saw a black bipedal figure through timber that vanished. Moments later a very large jet-black wolf-like animal appeared nearby staring at him, stalked toward a cedar thicket and disappeared. While hiking out he heard a deep scream-howl, panicked and ran to his truck and avoided the woods for the rest of deer season.

The witness was driving at night when movement beside the road caused them to slow, thinking it might be a deer. Up close they described a tall gray hair-covered figure near the tree line with large reddish-reflecting eyes that repeated arm movements before walking into the woods. The witness was driving alone late at night on Interstate 75 south of Cincinnati when headlights illuminated a tall dark-furred bipedal figure standing in a recess of a road cut. The figure, estimated at 6 to 6.5 feet tall, stood motionless with arms raised to shoulder height and stared at the car for a few seconds as the witness passed within about 15-20 feet. The witness described an angry humanlike face without a bear-like muzzle and felt frightened.

The guest and his father went deer hunting in Beaver Creek, separated to different fields, and the guest climbed a stand overlooking woods and a field edge. He watched a 5-6 foot black, upright creature with long arms move quietly by leaping between tree bases and walking logs. At about 75 yards it noticed him, hid behind a tree peeking at him, then used the tree for cover and disappeared, after which he climbed down and left.

While walking out on a remote logging road after discovering flat tires, the witness confronted a black bear that kept approaching despite shouting. A large hairy biped rushed down the hill on all fours, landed in the road and slid, causing the bear to flee. The biped then stood, stared, and bluff-charged twice with loud vocalizations until the witness fled on foot and was later picked up by drivers in a pickup.

The witness was hunting alone in woods in the early morning when a neighbor's dog began barking at an animal downhill. The witness approached and watched the upright animal repeatedly bat the dog away, then saw it look directly at them, growl loudly and start moving toward them. The witness dropped a shotgun and ran home, later returning with a relative to recover the gun but seeing nothing.

He then saw a tall black-haired upright figure tear a limb from a tree and look at him. While his parents were away on a trip, the witness was home with his cousin when a very tall white-haired creature filled his bedroom window and stared down at him, frightening him. He fled to the living room and saw a second similar white creature standing on a nearby hill overlooking the house.

After the quarry sighting the guest met an older woman who said she had communicated with the creatures since the 1970s. Over several visits he saw two babies in her kitchen eating muffins, an eight-year-old six-and-a-half-foot female on the porch, juveniles running upright, and a huge alpha male called Papa at night. She showed a garden, fish pond, and outdoor TV and said they help on the farm and hunt far.

The day after the garden sighting, the mother's brother thought he saw something in his front yard, stepped onto his porch, and faced a large creature about twenty feet away that gestured as if to come here. He went back inside for a firearm and it was gone. Men with dogs pursued it into the hills, lost two dogs, saw its silhouette on the mountaintop after dark, then left.

The guest's grandfather was sitting on his vehicle eating sardines when a grayish hairy figure appeared and stared for several minutes with only slight swaying. He set the food down, left, and found it gone the next day, then left food there about every two weeks and saw the figure a few times. On the last visit he saw a large black one with a younger one, the large one shaking trees and throwing things while the young one left, after which he stopped going there.

From several hundred yards away they watched a hair-covered biped stand up, pace near the treeline, flail its arms, puff its chest, and repeatedly pick up dirt clods to sling toward them. The pair kept their distance and walked out to the road, feeling the animal was agitated and territorial and did not follow them.
