The witness was scouting for a redfish tournament from a kayak in Florida near NASA property in the early morning. After hearing a large splash, smelling a nauseating odor, jumping wild hogs, and hearing a powerful scream-growl with trees shaking, the witness saw a tall hairy human-like face watching from behind a palm frond. The creature charged to the water's edge about 15 feet away, stopped when the witness raised a paddle and yelled, stared again, then walked back into the woods, leaving the witness physically ill and anxious for weeks.

After moving into the grandfather's old house, the family experienced ongoing phenomena. Upstairs sounded like someone playing jacks with bouncing ball and metal pieces, with cold spots and feeling of being watched. As a teenager the witness hunted squirrels near a pine barren when woods went silent and he felt watched. He heard a loud thump and movement paralleling him to the yard. After firing leftover rounds, something crashed up and down inside the treeline without crossing, barked at by dogs, and was heard by parents, but never seen.

A group camping with horses heard the horses startle something at dusk and then saw a huge brown figure about 6 feet tall running extremely fast across a meadow away from the horses in a cloud of dust. One tethered horse was so frightened it jumped over another horse. The witness concluded the figure could not have been a bear because of the sound it made and the way it ran.
