One evening almost dark while babysitting and on the phone, the guest let dogs out. They barked toward trees by a graveyard then fled terrified to the porch with cats. Something then struck the back of the house hard. She believes at least two creatures were present.

Over later visits to the same woods the witness and friends found a hair-covered shape curled like a stump, had a softball-sized rock thrown at their group, found a hung bait bucket punched open and emptied, felt hot breath and heard a grunt behind them with nothing seen, and found logs arranged like benches that gave an overwhelming feeling of dread. The witness also relayed a friend's solo report of something large jumping tree to tree with a shadow passing overhead.
